Crushed mate, you were a big part of my early childhood and always were there when needed. The 20c pieces you gave us to play pool in the club house and mars bars and cokes were some of my best memories growing up with Liam. Always had a bed and a meal at any hour. You made a lasting impact on my life and how I turned out today, Thanks mate forever grateful R.I.P
Many good memories of fixing stuff around the course followed by a few beers. Always with right hand man Lucy, who made sure everything went as it should. Was not easy being a single parent, but how proud you must have been of Liam.
Rest easy old mate.
Deepest condolences to Drakey’s real family. We were privileged to have Drakey as an additional member to our family, sharing Christmas’s, our kids birthday’s and stopping by to say hello every weekend. He was like an uncle to the kids and in his usual manner always kind and never complaining, even towards the end, just a lovely soul to have around. He will be missed.
Another wonderful legend gone physically from here but certainly won’t be forgotten.
Was always a pleasure to serve in the shop & have a chat with.
Love & sympathy to Liam & family.

I was only speaking to Drakey last week at the Royal about the footy tips. Such a lovely man.
He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
Deepest sympathy to Liam and Dave’s extended family at this sad time. Dave was never one to complain and I will miss his cheery good morning as he walked past my office to go to breakfast whilst living at Northaven. Drakey will be sadly missed by those who shared time with him at the Royal Hotel. No more suffering. Rest easy now Drakey. Colleen and Scrivo. xx
So sad to hear of the passing of David. Our deepest condolences to Liam and the extended family. David was always ready for a chat without complaints. Rest well David and hugs to you Liam.

The measure of a person is by the integrity of their character and the writ of their actions. In these regards Drakey was unimpeachable. Too, he had that larrikin spirit in the best essence of that word, coupled with a life journey of hard yards well met.
It was a privilege to have known him and his time will be recorded with a fine testament and memory.
My sympathy to his immediate and extended family and his circle of many friends.
RIP Drakey.
Deepest sympathy to David’s family, RIP. 🙏
So sorry to hear the sad news of Dave’s passing. Deepest sympathy to all of Dave’s family. He was well known & well liked for many years, by all of the members of the Kerang Golf Bowls Club. His upkeep of the greens for both sports was great. May he now rest in peace.
So sorry to read this. Condolences to Liam and David’s extended family.
Our deepest sympathy to David’s family.
Ken has many memories of assisting Drakey, especially the early mornings preparing the Greens.
Ken always admired the way he diligently spread his time across the Golf & Bowls Greens.
