A Graveside Funeral Service for Mr Alan Edward COOTE will be held at the Barham Lawn Cemetery on FRIDAY (5th June, 2026) commencing at 1:00pm.

We were so blessed to have Alan (Ben) as our Scout Leader back in the day. I was so jealous of Chris, Linda and Tim for having such a terrific, kind, hard working and helpful father!
He was patient, trustworthy, forthright. He taught us a heap of terrific values that have stayed with us all these years.
Happy memories of collecting bottles, splicing ropes, and setting up camp.
A special thank you to Alan and Helen for looking out for our cheeky brother, Martin.

A lifetime of friendship, 80+ years with Neville & Geoff Hewson and Peter Cook. We grew up together at Poowong and we went hunting pigs at Maude NSW in 1959 and camped on the bank of the Murrumbidgee river. Alan had a great personality and was a real bushie. Our sincere sympathies to Helen, Chris, Linda, Tim and their families. A life lived to the full, farewell ole buddy.
