We wish to encourage you to express your sympathies and condolences to the family via a post on this announcement which the family are able to access and read.
Sincere sympathy to Ray’s wife and his family. Ray owned a ‘RILEY’ motorcar as a young lad and he would chauffeur my late brother Murray and I around the district’s to represent Dingwall and take part in Saturday tennis matches. Nothing was ever a challenge to Ray and he was a fine example of a real gentleman.
I can also recollect how he loved shooting rabbits during the overwhelming plague at that time. Rabbit drives were always well attended as the rabbits were sold to Melbourne and funds went to assist building the new Dingwall Hall.
Apologies for my non attendance at his service.
Colin Fenton, Dingwall.
To Barb and family.
Our deepest sympathy on the passing of Ray.
Many great days and memories held of bowling with Ray in pennant and Over 60’s. Remembered with much fondness.
Sleep peacefully Ray.
