You were SUCH a beautiful, loving, compassionate and caring Aunty towards myself and CHAYCE, like you did for the whole family. No words can express our loss. May you fly high above, you’re an angel? I also send condolences to my family and everyone who loved Aunty Jo. XO ?
Deepest sympathy and condolences to the family.
Jo was a very special friend and a very brave lady.
Deepest sympathy to the Le Sueur family. Joanne was a loyal & wonderful friend from my days at St Anne’s. Fondly remembered. Rest in peace.
I am sorry to hear the news of Joanne’s passing. I was Joanne’s podiatrist for many years here in Bentleigh. She was a beautiful person. We would always have a great chat during our consultations, and she was always happy and positive. I will always remember her determination in getting around, even after some nasty falls. Even when I moved practice to Cheltenham, she made the extra effort in travelling all that way, which highlights her loyalty. My thoughts and prayers will be with you today.
Dearest Jo!
You were such a strong part of my childhood. Many a time we’d share my bedroom when you came to stay with Mum and Dad for the weekend. You were a frequent presence at all the important family events and often even when there was no event. The event was ‘Jo’s coming to stay!
And we knew our birthdays hadn’t really happened until two things had occurred: Nana’s ginger fluff sponge as a birthday cake, and the perennial card from Jo. You always remembered our birthdays every single year.
What a humble, true, loyal friend who always went out of your way for every one. A kinder warmer soul hasn’t existed.
Trish Steve and families thinking of you all at this sad time love Kerryn and Geoff ❤️

Our friendship with Joanne over the last fifty plus years has been a most treasured one. We first met her at St Anne’s Hostel in Melbourne where she was living while Frank’s sister, Theresia, was also living there. Jo spent many weekends with us and we holidayed together in the Grampians and went to the footy together. It was our pleasure to host a party for her for her 50th birthday which was a very happy occasion. Our children have wonderful memories of Jo. One has told me ‘she was one of the nicest people I ever knew.’
May she Rest In Peace in the loving arms of Jesus. Pauline and Frank Smit
