Doris had A beautiful smile, a kind heart, helping hands and an amazing persoanality. I will miss my long phone calls to my sister, the sisterly advice, the visits she had to our place and the visits we had to the farm and King St and the fun and games we had together.
We have been left with tears in our eyes but our memories will last forever.
RIP beautiful sister. Our love and support to John, Karen, Trevor, Ash and Wendy and your families.
Loving and happy memories of my cousin, Doris – a life well lived for her Lord. Deepest sympathy to John and all family members
Grandma was one of the kindest people you could ever meet. She would always make cakes and biscuits for visitors when they come over to her house or when she went visited someone.Grandma never went empty handed and would always bring something to share.
Grandma was a great cook and she would make great slices which we would all come back for seconds. She would also make blankets and clothes for us which are so warm and snugly.
I have many memories of grandma which I will remember forever.
RIP grandma, love Isaac.
May the warmth and comfort of all your lovely memories
someday take the place of the sadness you feel now.
I will always remember Doris’ welcome smile and warm hugs.
With sympathy and love to all the family.

As Nancy’s sister- in- law and with Graeme, we have met Doris over the years -always laughing and with a twinkle in her eyes. What a lovely tribute her funeral today was in these very trying days. Goodbye Grandma
I miss you now that you have passed, you have passed, passed away,
I miss you every time, I think about you every day,
Tears fall and well from my eyes,
And I can’t see you to say my final goodbyes,
Grandma I miss you a lot,
But I’ll remember you’re in heaven.
‘She is kind and thoughtful, her heart was like the moon that appears every day, reflecting across a shimmering lake, like how she does in my heart. I let out my grief and sorrow, and there is so much of it. But one special thing that comforts me is that, I shouldn’t believe that she is gone forever, not only will she be in my heart, but in heaven. This part in the bible really comforted me:
For God so love the world , that He gave His only begotten son, whosoever believeth in Him should not perish , but have everlasting life – John 3:16
My grandma
Grandma was the best. I have lots of lovely and sweet memories of her making sausage rolls with me and her making blankets that we can snuggle up to at night. I’ll miss her positive attitude and the great big smile on her face. My grandma always looked out for others and put them before herself. Thank our God and Heavenly Father for taking her home and giving her peace, rest and comfort that she deserves. Thank you God for all the love and joy that you brought in my grandma’s life.
“For the joy of the lord is your strength.”
– Psalms 73:26
I will miss you always grandma, and I love you.
Love Hannah.
