To dear Ian, Carole and family,
So very sorry to hear of your dear mum Margaret’s passing.
So many memories down the years, so much love and laughter.
Thank you Ian for ringing mum Shirley (97 in 2 months) and telling her in person that was very kind. Even though she thought it was Bill ringing her.
Shirley was deeply saddened by the news as are we all.
An era is passing but never the good memories.
Our love to you and deepest condolences.
Shirley Ann Michael Gibbins.
Dear Ian, Carole and family, happy memories of your mum Marg, such a warm and lovely lady. God bless 💖

On behalf of the Kerang Dance Club, we offer our sincere condolences to Ian and Carole and the wider Dunne family on the passing of Margaret Ann Dunne.
Margaret was a valuable member of our club for many years and, before that, was responsible for the dance program held here in Cohuna on a bimonthly basis.
The highlight each year with Margaret and her committee supporters was to provide perhaps the most magnificent suppers one could ever witness and enjoy. The planning and effort, along with a whole dance program, were something to behold, and Margaret certainly enjoyed dancing with her late husband, Bill.
Margaret also encouraged many others to take up and enjoy old-time dancing and was an excellent tutor who made dancing so enjoyable.
Quotation:-
“Kindness is the oil that takes the friction out of life” – unknown author.
Margaret’s willingness to put her hand up, to share creative ideas and to help organise in many ways throughout the community was the sharing and kindness she gave to us all.
Margaret has left this world, leaving us with so many memories to carry forward and remember her support and willingness to help others, often by simply taking the time to say hello and to provide a good listening ear.
The community dancing committee, along with the Kerang and the wider dancing community of northern Victoria, have been privileged to have Margaret amongst us, making such beautiful suppers happen, displaying her dancing skills, and always sharing with others. Margaret has left us with a set of principles for being part of our club and for sharing her infectious enjoyment with us all.
Life race well run,
Life’s work well done,
Life’s victory one
Now cometh rest.

Saddened to hear of the passing of Margaret. I worked with Margaret for many years, when I first started she was my boss and was always there to help me. She then became dancing friends with mum and dad, John and Phyllis Chick – they spent many many years dancing and running the dance club. Hope you are up there with Bill and Mum and Dad doing what you all loved best – dancing.

leftovers, tastings of new recipes or double cooked Anzacs for John! We will miss you greatly.

Dear Margaret, a life time of special memories you gave us, cakes, parties, Easter treasure hunts and fun. Thinking of Ian, Carole and families at this time. A very treasured lady who will be forever remembered as the best neighbour to our family to be blessed with! Now reunited with Bill and dancing again.
