It is with sadness that we announce the death of Mrs Janet Margaret BRUNS.
A Private Service will be held.

Dear Kathy, Rachel , Rob and families, My thoughts are with you today and my deepest sympathy. Its Barbara, may you find comfort in your good memories and your mum and dad reunited in heaven together. I couldn’t come today to the memorial but these words Id like to share.
I have many old memories of us at your farm, the Bruns family get together at Nan and Pop’s.
My words about Aunty Jan, she was my first teacher at Leitchy Primary and many years later, I went off to teachers college, as a Student teacher, helped me so much especially in month of Student teaching training, I spent at Cohuna Primary staying with Nan and Pop, catching the school bus every morning from your farm gate. I have always remembered those early years, throughout my careers and my goal to not only teach, but to train and teach others. Thankyou Aunty Jan, I may not have got my Masters, some of our chats were my future career to be a teacher and one day train others. Thanks Aunty Jan, I may not have got my Masters but I followed my dream for over 40 years teaching, training and educating others which I did for over 40 years till the day I retired. Dear cousins, my thoughts are with you today. May you find comfort, Jan and Ken are reunited together in heaven together forever and appreciate that our chats and support while training helped me so much, and the odd catch up chat since.
Aunty Jan supported me, encouraged me, in those early days with my passion to educate, to be a teacher and more inspired my goals to grow and to train others.
No words can ease your sorrow and grief today, my thoughts with are with you, hope you find peace in knowing they are together forever. 🙏 ❤️
Dear Kathy, Rachel, Rob and families. Thinking about you all as you say goodbye to mum. I am sure your farewell today will be both a celebration of a life well lived and a sad recalling of your memories that will live on in your family. Much loved and sorely missed by you all.
