Nan may not have been my actual grandmother, but she was my Nan, and I feel incredibly lucky to have known her. In the relatively short time I have had with both of you, you both have made such a lasting impact on my family and on me.
Nan became such an important person in Mum’s life, and both you and Nan became a huge part of the reason Mum and Dad found a place they truly felt at home. I’ll always be grateful for the love, friendship and memories you both have brought into our lives.
She will be deeply missed, but the impact she had on all of us will never be forgotten.

It is sad to say goodbye too early to such a special lady of our lives. From the moment I met Helen, she welcomed me to the Bray clan with open arms and of course a big hug. Our moments together from that time included many beautiful home cooked meals, outings for meals, stories, trips and adventures, as well as gatherings for Christmas, Easter, Anzac Days, Thursday night crews catch ups and many, many, many birthday celebrations of us all.
I enjoyed our time together sitting outside watching the world go by from Koondalea overlooking the Murray River. Other times after enjoying a home cooked meal, we would all gather around the table and play Phase10, this was always filled with an edge of competitiveness, but a whole heap of laughter. When in bloom we would pop out to your orchids in the greenhouse to admire the species, colours and smell. I popped out to them on the weekend, and they are a spectacular sight. I will miss you calling in on me in Kerang (and to the shoe shop) where you may have acquired a pair or two of shoes!
Helen, you loved your family, loved all your extended family and loved all your friends from all over Australia and all that love was given right back to you. You left us suddenly and our hearts are all broken. Together we hold memories of you in our hearts for eternity.
