Rest in peace Calvin, I shall miss our banter over Holden and Ford along with our food posts.
Our condolences to the Brain family.
Calvin, words can’t express how I feel. My heart breaks when I realise you are gone. I will miss our chats on the phone every week sometimes we would be on the phone for 2 hours just talking. You were my friend and I am honoured, most of all to call you my brother. Love you heaps till, we meet again for sure.
My condolences to Rhonda families. He will be sadly missed.
Calvin, I just wanted to say thank you for being such a loyal compassionate friend.
I miss you greatly, that it really hurts, I will never forget you, you’ll always have special place in my heart.
Me and Calvin would chat almost every night on radio Practicing CW and chat about anything and everything, making each other laugh till all hours of the night, what wonderfully moments we had on radio and off radio. Calvin, I hope to see you on the other side one day mate and continue our that’s like we use to. Love you mate, you’re greatly missed.
Calvin, We had some great times with one of his great passions, his car. He had a couple of beauties as time went on, I have to say his green XW I believe was his best, although we didn’t get to see the potential in his Cortina unfortunately the engine let go. He lived with us for awhile in the informers bungalow out back of George St where we had some great times watch him and the girls he would come home with 😜 as what seems to be a trend in our families, a wedge came between us and we fell out of touch. I am happy to say after a phone call or 2 we seem well I hope we did patch things up. He turned to me after the passing of mum and said he needed to get out of here and I agreed with him, that started our 10,000k drive to Darwin and back. I believe these are signs that we should put the passed behind us and all move forward.
Rest in peace Calvin, silent key VK3 CAL. Always remembered as a kind hearted man missed by all. Our deepest condolences to the family.
