Anne and Bill were amongst the very first people we met when we came to Kerang in 1982. Bill sold us our house and we were invited to their home to meet Anne and to sign paperwork. Anne has always been a special person to me, as she was to many others – she was full of faith, grace and kindness. An attentive and interested listener.
I send my love and condolences to all of her beautiful family – you will have wonderful memories which will be a great comfort to you

Annie, I only met you properly the other week, even though I’ve lived in Kerang for over 20years. I’m sure our paths would have crossed on numerous occasions. When you came in an introduced yourself, asked if I was “that girl on the bike”, you thanked me for riding around on my vintage bike dressed up in my costumes past the schools and around the town. It really was lovely to hear the delight it gave you, your expression of gratitude for the smiles I had given to others. It was lovely to have a conversation with you that day and you shared with me your teaching memories. Thank you for sharing your time with me on that day, forever in my heart xx
Sending love to the Kennedy families
Rebecca

Anne was simply a beautiful person who always listened to your conversation, responded with interest and kind regard that bought you closer to her. Russ and I enjoyed her companionship as neighbours visiting mum, Marie Hayes over the years supporting each other with life’s peaks and troughs.
Her life was joyful with her extended family and friends visiting, outings, letters and telephone calls along with her garden that she was proud to constantly tend. Condolences and deepest sympathy to Anne’s family and friends as you grieve her loss.
Deepest sympathy to the Kennedy family. Mrs. Kennedy as she was known to me was a teacher when I was at the Kerang primary school. Beautiful tributes already – deepest sympathy and thoughts to the Kennedy families, particularly Jack & Megsy’s families whom we know. Its hard losing loved ones.
The end of another era and though Ann had a good innings it came to a sudden, unexpected halt – some you expect will go on forever, sadly not.
Kerang will miss but remember this lovely lady – she was kind and positive and enjoyed a full life. Ann will live on in your hearts and memories – you’ll remember her
every day – something will always remind you of her. Mothers are the centre of our universe. Now to give her a wonderful send-off.
It is indeed sad news that dear Anne has passed away. Back in the 1970s we young teachers had much to learn from Anne’s kind and compassionate approach to her students and colleagues. She was so encouraging and supportive to students and staff alike; the world was indeed a better place after a conversation with Anne. Decades later when I moved to town we became Meals on Wheels partners and Anne’s same qualities were evident as she delivered hope and happiness along with the meals. She will be sorely missed by all who shared her love of music in the Kerang Music Society Choir and in the activities of the Kerang and District U3A .The extended Hall family are so grateful for the kindness and friendship Anne showed to Aunty Val as her neighbour at the units. Anne will be well remembered and greatly missed. Sincere condolences to Anne’s families. Julie Hall.
Our deepest sympathy to the Kennedy family on the loss of their beautiful mother. A very gracious woman who gave so much to her community. Now at peace and in the arms of her beloved Bill. A very devout Christian now in the glory of her Lord. A great friend for 35 years and sharing so much together attending meetings and sharing many stories. I will greatly miss my visits with Anne and sharing a friendship never to be forgotten. A special lady who will hold a special place in my heart forever.
Our deepest sympathies go out to the Kennedy family on the passing of their much loved and respected mother Anne. While she had a full life it is always sad to say goodbye. She will be remembered fore her contribution to the Kerang community, love she gave to her family and friends. Loved by all who were lucky enough to know her.
