Condolences to Sonia and all the family.
Having the privilege of knowing John throughout his life, his contribution during his life time to many Organizations, his farming skills, and his interest in taking on many new challenges that arose, set him apart from the average, his extraordinary artist ability, and talent, in the creation of his spanner sculptures set him apart from the normal, to what would be considered exceptional.

Condolences to the family of a wonderful and talented man. As President of the Northern Branch of the Avicultural Society of Australia and as a club we visited John and Sonia a number of times over the years. We spent time looking at his beautiful birds and all the creations from spanners he artistically welded together. Everything he did with passion. A truly amazing man who never let his disability hold him back from anything. A pleasure to know him and will never be forgotten. Fly free with the birds in the next phase in life. Heart felt thanks for the memories. R.I.P our special friend. Graeme Hill and members of the Northern Branch of the A.S of Australia.?
