Nanna may you Rest In Peace , I’m very grateful for the time we got to share together while growing up, you & Da played a very important part of my life which I will be forever grateful for, you kind heart and loving support for us will be forever remembered, I looked forward to spending school holidays up in the country with you & Da , learning how to plays cards, catching yabbies in the dams & teaching us how to drive a car even if we were underage. Your homemade jams & roast dinners were the best.
I’m so grateful that my 4 sons got to spend some quality time with you even though it was limited, due to us living up North, just watching the joy in there eyes an having a chat with you was amazing.
We will continue to carry our family name with pride just how you & Da taught us to do, love you always Nanna and be in peace with Da.
Love your Grand son Matt, Amanda , & your great grand sons Taj, Dusty, Hunter & JB
Hoping your in a more comfortable place now Nana, back with Da. Say G’day to him for us please.
Thanks for all the memories in the early days, boxing day at your place in Fawkner, then school holidays at Borung. There obviously wasn’t much to do in Borung apart from ride the bikes and spend endless hours of kick to kick with Matt, but you & Da always made it enjoyable. No doubt your playing bingo (hopefully having a win). Will miss the ‘gravy’, nothing will ever come close to that!
Take it easy, Luke, Carly, Georgia, Grace & Jimmy. Go Bombers….
