Will miss your humour & wit about the place & you hooning around in your buggy. Still remember the time we took off to the doctor’s for bells paulsy… The doctor spoke really loud at you, as we left you whispered to me… “He thinks I’m deaf!” We had a good ol’ chuckle & carried on back to the park.
And the time your old buggy caught fire & you drove in to check your mail telling me you almost jumped off the bridge into the creek.
When you were feeding all your bird friends & one bit you on the ear, well he was quickly flicked off.
The time you went into your cabin to grab something before we headed to the docs, but you had to stay close to the door chucking bread behind you so the birds wouldn’t come in…
The wedding we attended & you threw me round the dancefloor like you were in your 30’s.
And all the times you didn’t like the meals on wheels so we swapped it for cake to have with your tea or a good batch of soup, lasagne or something else, & the kids ate your meal.
You’d always leave your walking stick hanging on the front desk.
And those times early in the morning I’d wave at you & Coolman while I went for a jog.
Will miss you. ?

Leo,
We are going to miss your welcoming smile and you’re welcome greeting, particularly when we visited the” Bower”. As it’s often said , IT takes both rain and sunshine to make a rainbow.
Throughout the life that you lead you brought much sunshine and many rainbows and memories for many people. You football exploits were extraordinary and go football followers so much enjoyment. You will be missed by many people of the Cohuna community and the wider football follower community as well.
I believe this quotation says it all,
I expect to pass through this world but once,
Any good therefore that I can do
Or any kindness that I can show
Let me not defer or neglected for
I shall not pass this way again
Thanks again Leo for the many memories and friendship you provided to us all
Max and Denise Fehring
