Pattie was one of a kind. Never be another lady like her. Pain free and with her beloved hubby.
Will miss her funny sayings. And very dry sense of humour.
So sad to hear of Pattie’s passing. Deepest sympathy to all of her family. I was a long time friend of Pattie. I played bowls against her & made her a nice soft cushion for her to sit on in church. I sometimes picked her up & took her home. She loved the Chokos I used to give her from my garden & so I showed her how to grow her own. Then I became unwell & didn’t know she had got so unwell herself. So I didn’t get to say goodbye.
May she now rest in peace. No more suffering.
It’s spelt PATTIE not patty cake. One of my first memories of you. The other was yours and Ron’s friendly manner when I was on the checkout at IGA. From the same part of Melbourne, you were easy to relate to. You’ll be missed Pattie. Condolences to Barb.
What a LADY, sometimes controversial but always said what she thought and ended it with — “That’s the way I see it” OR “That’s the way it is” Another of her sayings was — “Well, the sun will get up tomorrow even if I don’t” .. With her health battles over many years that was a statement she lived by. A great bowler, very competitive but always respected her fellow bowlers. Having played tournaments with Pattie, she was unbelievable company. Considering Pattie’s health battles she was a credit to herself the way she battled on. We will miss you at the Kerang Bowling Club and out at Wandella Football/Netball Club. A TRUE and GENUINE supporter of both.
Your concerns over our health problems, considering yours, were that of a very caring person. Thank you Pattie.
Well Pattie, the sun did get up this morning so you can now REST in PEACE.
