So sorry to hear that Doris has passed away. One happy go lucky lady that we have been involved with for many a long year. A life time friend of my mother Kath whom worked for Doris & Keith at their grocery shop and then a great neighbour to Kevin’s clan when they were growing up.We have great memories from over the years. Sympathy to all her family. Rest peacefully Doris. Xx Lyn & Sambo
Our friendship with Doris goes back over 60 years when Keith and I were in Apex together. Doris was a stalwart supporter of Apex and provided more plates of scones than you can imagine which helped feed the Apexians on most of our working bees.
She supported Keith throughout many years of Apex community service and the Kerang Community is much the richer for their joint contribution. It was a great experience to have been involved for many years.
This is so hard for me to express my memories of Doris. I was a “little” girl – way back when – being a Junior member of the Anglican Church girls group of G.F.S. – being Girls Friendly Society of which Doris was our Leader. I then went on to become Doris’ Junior Leader. One memory which has remained deep in my mind is when Doris won a competition, the prize being a Ford Anglia car. When Doris received the phone call, she was busy making scones and apron covered in flour! Off she went to collect her “prize.” Love You and sleep well. XX
Dear friend of Bette Helsham and will greatly missed.. Fondly remembered by our family 💐

Much love and deepest sympathy to Val and Lloyd and all of Doris’ nieces and nephews who brought such joy to her life. Doris was a wonderful disciple and a stalwart of the Anglican Church. We will never forget her contributions to the life of our church, the social functions she organised, her cooking skills, mischievous sense of humour and endearing personality.
We were blessed to have shared part of our life’s journey with you Doris. Rest easy in the nearer presence of the Lord dearnfriend. Kevin and Gayle.
Doris kept Ray informed about happenings in Kerang over many years. Ray and Keith were best friends at school. I used to see Doris every time I was in Kerang – the last was a few years ago when she was in hospital. She was a good friend. Nancy Cox
