I was so saddened to hear the news of Dick’s passing from Kathy. Dick, Cres, Kathy, Peter, Liz, Marion and Banyandah were a big part of my life when I was younger. You all mean a lot to me. Dick and Cres lived an amazing life. Family, friends and community were all so important to them. Dick was a beautiful person – a true gentleman who will be sadly missed. Robert and I are so disappointed that we were not there today as I was not up to travelling to Kerang. I send my love to you all.

To all Dick’s family, I wish to express my condolences. Dick was a genuine, hard working and community-minded man who worked for the good of his fellows, including on behalf of irrigators along with my father, Charlie Hildebrand, over many years. Keep him close with your memories.
