David and family we extend our deepest sympathies. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Anne will be sadly missed but her beautiful heart remains with us.
I met Anne on the first day of residence at Howitt Hall, Monash University in 1970 and was met with a wonderful smile, a great sense of humour, a vitality and an interest in others. Later on I shared a house in Oakleigh South with Anne and other country students and during this time David was brought into the fold. The fresh produce Anne provided from the family orchard was always appreciated. After Anne and David married and settled in the country, the annual Christmas communication kept Bronwyn and me up with all the activities and milestones of their family. In recent years we have really valued the opportunity to catch up with Anne and David over a pub meal in Castlemaine as they traveled back to Kerang from Melbourne. Anne’s strength during the long years of illness has been an inspiration. We send our love and very best wishes to David who has always been there for her. We will miss Anne greatly.
