To the Sartori family,
Please accept our heartfelt sympathy on the sad passing of your dear mother, Shirley π.
What an amazing lady and milestone she reached.
A neighbour to the Pepperell’s of Bodalla for as long as I remember.
Mum talks about Shirley and herself being president and secretary of the Myall school.. Memories of the Myall PS Christmas concert at the Myall Hall, all the kids going up to accept our signed books from Mum and Shirley.
An amazing community person, passionately involved in the Myall community and varying District clubs – tennis, etc.
Memories of going on the motorbike with brother Rog to collect our billy of milk across the road at Sartori’s diary, filled up by Peter or Shirley, balancing our billy of milk, hopefully not spilling a drop before we got back home across the road.
Vale Shirley, imprinted into our memories, never aged, worked hard and lived a long life that is her blessing and testimony for a well lived life and respected by all for what she gave to her community. β€οΈ
