A Graveside Funeral Service for Sheryl Frances RUSSELL will be held at the Cohuna Lawn Cemetery on FRIDAY (25th October, 2024) commencing at 10.30 am.

Sheryl requested before her passing that she would like people attending the funeral to wear bright colours, purple (her favourite colour) or something that reflects the Cohuna ‘Kangas’ Football/Netball club please.
Mrs Russell, I was fortunate enough to have you as my prep teacher. You made coming to into primary school so welcoming. I always wished through out my school years that more teachers where like you. Much love to all of your family and surrounding community.
With clear leadership in the classroom and beyond, Sheryl has been a strong positive influence for a generation of Cohuna young people and their parents. With respect we mourn her passing and extend our sympathy and gratitude to John, Hayley, Michael and families.

John and family, Jenny and I would like to pass on our condolences to you all as you mourn the passing of Sheryl. She was a fantastic member of staff at Cohuna Consolidated School and a great support to me personally. I am pleased to have been able to tell her that again recently.
