A Memorial Service for Susanne Janice PATON will be held at the Cohuna Bowling Club, Tennis Court Drive, COHUNA on MONDAY (1st July, 2024) commencing at 2:00pm.

A private cremation will be held earlier.

Gee Susanne, it’s been 43 years since we first met, how time has flown and our lives changed with all those years passing. I cannot thank you enough for being such a loyal friend, who supported me, encouraged me, laughed with me, cried a couple of times with me, got a little smashed a couple of times, ate far too much cake together sometimes, shared a passion for gardening and it was with your knowledge of bulbs that got me hooked. But alas I never loved the horses!! You knew I was scared of them but always encouraged me to go with you to feed and tend them. I’m still scared of them and can’t run fast enough if someone suggests going horse riding.
We shared stories of our kids as they grew, married, had their own kids and worried about them all the time even though they had all grown up. Being a mother never changes. You raised three great kids and were so proud of them all, I’m sorry you won’t get to Scotland or see them grow but you will remain a constant in their lives in stories.
I shall miss you so very much. Thank you for being such a loved sincere friend for all these years as my life would have been poorer for having not met you and growing older together.
