Nola was a very special lady and what a team Nola and Bruce Newstead made!! How well suited and such contributors to their communities.
The Charlie and Elva Mann family were privileged to have them in our lives for such a long time.
Suspect they’re now dancing beside family and friends who’ve gone before, on the dance floor above.
Deepest Sympathy to Nola’s family – Special memories of a faithful Christian lady, whose fellowship we enjoyed.
Both she and Bruce were a great couple!
With our love and prayers in your loss and grief.

Dear Faye, Chris, Jill and families. Thinking of you all on this sad day. We were very lucky to have got the “girls” together one last time last year. I remember many good holidays up on the farm, and stories from Viv. Take care. Sharon and family.
Dear Faye, Chris and Jill, I am so sorry for your loss of your beautiful Mum. What great times I remember of your Mum on the tennis court playing for Mincha we used to be paired up most Saturdays. And then she coached us for netball. That year we came runners up for Macorna. I have wonderful memories that will be remembered very fondly. As I am sure you all have. Sending lots of love to you all.

It is so sad to loose Nola.
I have lots of lovely memories of her as my big sister, as dairy farmer, as partner to Bruce and mother to Fay, Chris and Jill. She fulfilled all of these roles with calm, competence and skill.
In later years it was fun for David and I to visit, to look around Single Oak, enjoy good food together and discuss a full range of issues.
We will miss Nola and Bruce.
Rest in Peace.
I wish that I could be there with you all to celebrate the life of Aunty Nola.
So many wonderful memories of the times that we all spent together as an extended family, with all four of the Bawden sisters together. Special memories of the time spent ‘helping’ Aunty Nola and Uncle Bruce in the milking shed, and the endless amazing supply of her home made Jelly Slice!
Together again with Uncle Bruce, resting after a wonderful life full of hard work on the farm for so many years, and supporting their loved communities.
Lots of love to Faye, Chris and Jill, together with your respective extended families.
