Condolences to Paul, Beth, Judy and families on the passing of your Mum. What a lovely lady she was, and a great friend of our family – especially good friend of our Mum since their nursing training in Bendigo.
Our sympathy to Paul & Anne, Beth & David, Judy & Leon and your extended families on the loss of your Mum.
Nellie had been friends with our Mum, Norine, since they were 9 years old. They both married the cousins, Bill Loosemore and Roy Gitsham and became lifelong close friends and neighbours, even sharing some holidays together. Bill & Nellie, Roy & Norine enjoyed alot of 8th Battalion reunions.
The Loosemore’s and Gitsham’s shared many years of driving their children to Fairley school. Lyn and Heather had countless trips to Sandhill tennis. The family friendships are continuing to the next generation.
A life well lived, a rest well earned.
The four friends now reunited with the Lord.
Deepest sympathy Paul, Beth, Judy and family on the passing of your mother. Sorry I cannot make funeral due to medical appointment in Bendigo.
Lovely lady. Fondly remembered. Sincere thanks to all the family.
To our cousins Paul, Beth and Judy and your families we send our deepest sympathies on the passing of your lovely Mum, our Aunty Nellie. Nellie was a much loved sister of our mother Mae and we have the fondest memories of our childhood holidays spent on your farm. I still remember her patience teaching us to milk a cow, the mushroom hunts and those glorious morning teas. A kind gentle soul who will be missed by all her knew her.
Mae’s family.

Our love and sympathy in the passing of Mrs Loosemore.
To Paul, Beth, Judy and your extended families,
We offer our sincere condolences to you on the passing of Nellie — your Mother. What a lady Nellie was, always very caring about everyone’s health and wellbeing. An outstanding nurse in her younger days, something she handed onto her daughters. Repeating something her late mother said of Nellie and her older sister Daphne — They were the authors of the Book of ‘MISCHIEF’ as young girls — if it had not happened it was because they had not thought of it!
As a tennis player at Sandhill Lake — some opposition players would say not a great player but EXTREMELY HARD TO BEAT after they had suffered defeat at her hands.
At the School Sports, Nellie and her great mate Joy Radcliffe had an unbeaten record in the 3 legged race, she was also successful in other events. Her favourite saying if things were not going to plan “O MY GOODNESS”!
Nellie was the 3rd girl in her family (Esther, Daphne, Nellie, Mae and then Richie — all pre-deceased). A very close-knit family.
A TRUE CHRISTIAN of FAITH. Rest peacefully Nellie — a life well lived.
George, Esther & Ken, Edward & Gloria and our extended families.
Deepest sympathy to Nellie’s family at this sad time. Nell will be remembered for her love and support of many other residents at Northaven, particularly at breakfast time. Rest in peace now with the Lord Nellie, your work on this earth is done. Treasured memories.
Deepest sympathy to our precious friends Beth and David; Paul and Judy and families. Your Mum was a beautiful and gentle soul. Reunited with her loved ones, resting in the everlasting arms of Jesus Christ her Lord. Lynne and Les Crichton xx
Deepest sympathy to all Nellie’s family.
Often crossed paths at Northaven as she was waiting to be picked up by the family.
Always smiling.
