Thinking of you all at this time. Daphne and Jack were special people and meant a lot to me over the years. They were an important part of Cohuna Hospital in their working days. Jack being the to call person to fix anything from relocating possums in the nurses home to fixing theatre equipment. Daphne was our linen lady and problem solver. Our Doctors were often faced with strapping /positioning broken limbs/traction without modern day appliances so we had to find a WAY to improvise. The linen lady often came up with suggestions. Daphne also kept a good eye on the quality and budget . I have fond memories of those days.
Good memories also of the times spent on stage. Special times. Love to you all Anne

The members of the Cohuna & District Historical Society tender their sincere condolences on the passing of Daphne. She was a big part of the Historical Society for many years She was a wonderful tour guide on the many touring buses who passed through Cohuna and could tell many stories about the early days. She was a great entertainer. It has only been in recent times that Daphne has been unable to attend our annual Christmas function. The house in Hall Street was a must see place to go prior to Christmas and Daphne and Jack always had special decorations for the children to see.
Again, to her much loved family, pleased, accept our deepest sympathy.
