My sincere condolences to all of Mrs Coughlan’s family.
Mrs Coughlan was first my swimming teacher and then later my mentor as she taught me how to teach as well. She was much loved and will be remembered for her kind nature and dedication to teaching generations of children to swim.
Memories of her voice counting to 10 as we floated and reminding us to use ‘sneaky breathing’ are just a few of many fondly remembered moments.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we heard of the passing of Mrs Coughlan.
A first swimming teacher to most, Mrs Coughlan spent many hours in the pool teaching us all the valuable life lesson of swimming.
Her dedication and commitment to the Kerang Swimming Club never went unnoticed and nothing was ever too much trouble for her.
Marg was not only a life member, but a treasured swimming trainer and loyal supporter to our club over many decades.
We extended our heart felt condolences to all of Margs family at this time of sadness xx
