Very sad news. I worked with Angela a few years ago. A very kind and happy person. Sorry I couldn’t make the funeral. Thinking of you all today at this very sad time. RIP Angela. Xxx
I was shocked to hear the sad news. Angela always a friendly, happy, bubbly lady. Sending deepest sympathy to her family.
Oh Angela.
You were so amazing to me. Planning my babyshower with Maddi for Milla, helping so much at my wedding and being the funniest friend there is.
In recent years, in the chaos of life, I certainly didn’t see you as much as I’d like, but gosh I hope you knew how much you meant to me.
I’m so sad to miss your funeral, recovering from surgery; but watching with a tissue in hand, never forgetting you.
Love to your family.
Brooke xx
RIP Beautiful lady, fly with the angels. Heaven has gained another beautiful soul. Thinking of the family and friends at this sad time. 🙏🏻
On behalf of the Cohuna Lions Club we wish to express our sympathy and condolences to Angela’s family on her passing. We have fond memories of Angela was only with us for a short time. Taken too soon. Sorry for your loss.
Condolences to Angela’s family and friends on the passing of Angela. Angela’s caring and kind style will be remembered by many. Angela was a strong advocate for older people and had a unique skill in respecting and enabling older people. Vale Angela. Bernadette Loughnane CEO on behalf of Board and staff of CDH.

RIP lovely Angela 💖. Deepest sympathy to the family. So sorry for your loss xo
Maddie, Mitch and Michaela sending hugs. Ange and I worked CDH Social Support Services and were friends after leaving CDH. I will miss her smile and chats.
On behalf of the O’Connell family, I wanted to express our condolences and sympathies from our family to yours. Ange was such a lovely and kind woman, who raised some beautiful kids. She would always allow space for any of mitchs friends, this had no boundaries – chats, dinners, lifts home, a bed to sleep in (which meant Mitch got kicked to the couch) and always provided a home we all felt welcome in no matter how much time passed. The combination of the head shake, eye roll, laugh and “MITCHELL” will forever be remembered. It was a pleasure knowing you Ange and being welcomed into your home and family.
Rest Easy, love the O’Connell’s.
Fond memories of our years at CDH particularly when working towards implementing the Partnering Standard at a time when inclusion was a bit foreign to all of us.
Your kindness, care and compassion are unquestionable. Sleep peacefully my friend. Taken way too soon.
Missing you deeply Angie -all those gently smiles and laughter, all the shared experiences-my deepest sympathies to Mandy and the family
On behalf of the Cohuna community bus committee, I wish to express our condolences and sympathies to Angela Clark Grundy’s family on her passing.
Angela was very much part of our team effort in using the community bus to bring people together from various parts of the town in the nursing home to the day care centre.
Angela’s role was to ensure that everyone was well cared for, provided with an excellent meal, and above all, a wide range of activities, which were very much her bread and butter in providing entertainment.
There were many trips to other places organised to help put everything together, along with many loyal volunteers such as Edna Toma and Judy Toll, and the numerous volunteer bus drivers willing to aid and assist Angela’s activities in caring for the less able. Her commitment was never-ending, as she always remembered everyone’s birthdays and major personal events in their lives, ensuring people got to know one another and enjoyed each other’s company. Angela’s efforts to keep people connected were significant for their personal well-being in a world that moves so fast these days.
Angela had come from far away in England. She then made our country her home, using her nursing skills and care background to be a positive and supportive force in all the workplaces and communities in which she lived. Angela was good at sharing stories, a good listener to others, and remembering the highlights of each one.
As we sadly say farewell to Angela, our committee believes this set of words says it all.
I expect to pass through this world, but once
Any good, therefore that I can do
Or any kindness that I can show
Let me do it now
Let me not defer or neglect for
I shall not pass this way again.
As we say farewell, Angela, there will be no more bus outings to worry about for her beloved clientele, daycare events to organise, or social organising. Thanks for leaving us many memories that we will treasure.
Max Fehring, Chairperson of the Cohuna community bus committee
Here’s cheers to the kindest, sweetest friend and work colleague – Angela Clark-Grundy. This was not the plan, but life had other incredible journeys in store for you. You were supposed to be living the dream spreading your smiles and laughter, coming to sewing retreats, taking holidays and much more. Your time may have been cut short, but your legacy will live on in the hearts of all those you touched. It has been a wild ride and now it is time for you to soar to even greater heights. Until we meet again ‘Angie Pangie’ fly free and bling bling. Love you girlfriend.❤️❤️😭
Dear Maddie and extended family your mum fought the hard fight, but she is now at peace and resting without pain..love you from me and mum
Ang, I’m very sorry I could not be there today. I am thinking of you and Maddi. Shine on you crazy diamond. Thank you for being a kind friend and opening the doors to me when I first started at CDH. I will miss all the funny moments and silly banter. Rest peacefully Ang xxx
