Our thoughts are with Rhonda and family on the passing of Alan.
Alan kept my Fordson tractors going for years. What Alan didn’t know about Fordson tracotrs wasn’t worth knowing!
Always had a smile and a joke and nothing was ever too much trouble.
Dear Rhonda and family,
Sincere sympathy on passing of your dad.
A great bloke and good memories of time spent with your family.

Our condolences to Alan’s family. I can vividly recall Alan rocking up to Dingwall School where he was a student, one day creating havoc among all his fellow students, including myself as Alan had a very large carpet snake in a hessian bag. On opening the bag out slithered the snake and amongst the girl students screaming, us boys all took cover up the peppercorn trees. Alan hastily caught the carpet snake and popped it in the hessian bag where it stayed all day till home time.
His knowledge gained at Arnoldt & Greenwood about Fordson Tractors was second to none which Alan happily parted with farmers.
Alan faced life’s challenges with a laugh or a smile on meeting you.
Unfortunately Mary and I are unable to attend Alan’s farewell service. Rest in Peace “Snow”.
Colin Fenton.
