Pam & Gerald send condolences to the extended Bourke families.
A life well lived caring for her family. Pam enjoyed the chats whenever Verna & Lyla visited Kerang.
R.I.P Verna.
Sad to hear of Verna’s passing. Such a lovely lady who was always up for a bit of a chat. Xx
Sincere condolences to all of Verna’s children, your partners and the younger generations.
My brother and I had many contacts with Verna & Lyla in our teen years when we spent holidays at the Nolan wine shanty at Dumosa & the McNichols farm down the road. I was also a close friend of Fr Tom Furey (RIP).
Verna’s generation were wonderful pioneers and left us not only happy memories but showed us the way home to God. May Verna, Des, Lyla and all family members now enjoy eternal rest.
Michael and Leonard Nolan (sons of Paddy and Eveline (née Oughtred) Nolan.

Verna – a kind, generous and loving lady.

Condolences to the Bourke family, I have known Verna for fifty plus years when I delivered fuel to Des at Quamby. She certainly knew how to put on a good afternoon tea, a wonderful cook. Rest in peace Verna.
RIP in eternal peace Verna. Last of the Nolan’s with a great productive life. Will miss your chats of Quamby updates and a true Quambatook long time resident. Friend of Margaret’s for over 70 years and mine for over 65 years. Lovely lady reunited with her beloved Des and Lyla. Sincere sympathies to her many family members. ❤️❤️
