Thinking of you Sheryl, George & Dick on the loss of your mum♡
I have many lovely memories of times spent with Auntie Phyllis. We were similar in lots of ways. I showed one of my young son’s a photo of Auntie Phyllis once and they commented that she looked just like Poppy ( her younger brother, Russ) in a dress!!😂😂
The best memories were when dad ( Russ), Auntie Phyllis and I would head out for a day of adventure, finding old sites of pubs with chimneys, and digging for treasures. One day Auntie Phyllis yelled out, “I’ve found a bloody treasure!!” …..excitedly she even faster. All I could see was her backside as she bent over digging with gusto. A bit moreover furious digging, only to find the old bottle with the marble still in tact was broken…..how disappointing. 😩 I loved these many adventures we had. I also remember the butcher shop and those chicken sticks they made. Auntie Phyllis always had home made sweet treats. I loved her passion for nature and animals. I loved the old house in Albert St too. Lots of fond memories of an auntie that was so much like my own dad. RIP😊💕🙏🏾
Much love to Dick Sheryl and George and families on the loss of your beloved mother. Shane and Marg Ryan Peter and Cathy Ryan Maureen and Ross Robson and families. Children of Sheila Amarant xxx

Dearest auntie Phyllis. will be sadly missed what a wonderful person that seems to come along once in awhile. Always remember the Cocky.
And the enormous amount of bottles collected and stored in her garage how many days fossicking in all vacant properties

Best Grandma in the world! School Holidays were always so much fun no matter what we were doing, I used to love when we had to deliver meat to customers from the Butcher shop, Grandma was driving the Ford back then and us kids would take it in turns running the order in to the houses and hospital. We were always baking cup cakes for grandad, or making jams or pies. In the mornings we would feed her Bird “Cocky” weetbix and give oranges and apples to her other birds. We were always watering the garden, mowing the lawns or simply pottering around in her Garden which she loved. After Dinner we would always play cards or other games until 12 -1am. I have the fondest memories of Grandma and loved her dearly, her Child like Spirit will always be with me

Happy memories of lovely Aunty Phyllis who was always so kind and so pleased to spend time with us when we visited. Our sympathy to Sheryl, Dick, George and families and to the families of the late Yvonne. May she rest peacefully in God’s arms.
Phyllis you were a great person and neighbour. I can always remember you having a tribe of animals in tow, following you around the yard at dusk, waiting to be fed watered and put to bed for the night. You would be always talking aloud to them as they unconditionally followed you.
One other great thing I enjoyed doing with you was going out to the many old abandoned properties looking for old bottles.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Dick, Cheryl and George and their families.
RIP Phyllis from Arch and Kym Cassidy and family.
