To Dorothy’s Family.
We are sorry that we could not attend the service today but our thoughts were with you. It was a fitting tribute to such a fine , fun loving lady.
Dorothy was my cousin who I didn’t see very often , but when we did catch up it was always fun , jokes , good stories and reminiscing about our fore bears and who was who in the “zoo”.
I am sure that her example of living a good life and fond memories be with you all for ever.
Love and best wishes for the future , Graham and Pam Norman
Sympathy to all of Dorothy’s family – from Kerang Legacy group (as she was one of our lovely war widows).

Dorothy was a person of many talents. Her community spirit was boundless. Her commitment to family and friends was continuous, caring and loving. She will be sadly missed by many. R I P Dorothy. Ian and Lorraine Capp.
Dear Robert and Margaret and extended families of Hildebrands( Rita) and Mathers( Gwen)
Dorothy was a great card player exceeded only by her skill at cooking .She could make one chicken last a whole week for seven people holidaying in the Gold Coast. By the time dinner was over each day we((Joy Del and Wilma) would play cards and we would win 500 only when one of us could be an emergency as we were four. to three family wise which was an asset when faced with such competition.
Dorothy weaved tales with humor and also used a loom and knitted jumpers from black sheep and it was one of the warmest jumpers I ever had. It has now become an acceptable trend in which she was a forerunner. She was always daring flying over Lake Eyre when it was exploding into furious beauty as it does occasionally
She went to work early in what was then the Bank of NSW with my sister Del who also had a passion for friendship and daring escapades through war and peace and they worked hard and played hard and were close friends in times of suffering and sadness. A great friendship
It is a privilege to have known her and sharing great times with her and her parents Len and Gwen Norman
Thank you Joy and Anne for your reminder of her fun days at Bingo. It was never a chore for Dorothy because she enjoyed the challenge of solving maths problems. Plus it was for a great cause, the Cohuna Hospital!🏥
Our deepest sympathy to Marg, Rob and Dorothy’s extended family. She was a most welcoming neighbour when we first moved to Leitchville. We will remember her as a strong, resilient lady who loved life.
It was with great sadness that I learned of Dorothy’s return to God’s care today. Her friendly, positive nature was a great help to me when I was first widowed. She went out of her way to make me feel at ease and to introduce me to some very fine people whom I still meet with today. Such kindness and friendship is not so easy to find these days. A truly wonderful lady. I for one will miss her greatly as I am sure her family will. Vale Dorothy, now walking in God’s garden.
Deepest condolences to the family. Dorothy really did brighten my Wednesday mornings.
I will miss your jokes and your beautiful smile. Rest In Peace beautiful lady.
Sincere sympathy to all Dorothy’s family.
Our condolences to the family. Dorothy was the official recorder of bingo winners at Hospital Bingo for some 25 odd years. Her stories of her travels, etc during intervals, always were told with appreciation of being able to see the world in good times with family and friends. Her family will miss her dearly. From the Joy’s and Anne at Hospital Bingo.
Thank you Gayle for your loving words of her vibrant personality. She had a great admiration for many church leaders, especially yourself, Rev Sue, Rev Fowler and Rev Robinson; they moved on, she supported them. The church gave her sincere comfort, support from members of the congregation and benevolence towards others.

So sad to hear that Dorothy has passed. Wonderful memories of her visits with Rita and Gwen and their chauffeur Beranice.
Thinking of the extended families at this time.
Deepest sympathies to all families.
Dorothy was very active and she had a zest for life, she was younger than her years. She enjoyed traveling for many years always up to telling a joke and remained independent, but enjoyed company and family time.
