A devoted Christian and a wonderful, wonderful lady who was much loved by Fr Russell Smith (dec) , Jan and all the Smith family. A devoted Mother’s Union member and servant..Well done good and faithful servant. May Lesley rest in God’s eternal care and peace.
Thank you Jan. Mum had a special place in her heart for Russell, you and your family. She was the last member of the Mothers Union at Kerang after her 65 years of participation. She would tell me the story of how they had sold enough cakes to fit out a room in the old Kerang Hospital. I think that would have been alot of cakes and things produced by all the ladies to accomplish this feat.
