Max, together with his wife Ev, played a pivotal role in my life. Max was a man with boundless energy which he put to great use helping others, whether they be friends or those simply in need. Max was a man with rock solid principles, a man of conviction, and also a man with compassion who wasn’t afraid of expressing emotion. Max was thoroughly gregarious. And so we met by chance in 1991 and became immediate friends from then on. Thank you, Max, for all you did for me and all you meant to me, for how you enriched my life. You were truly one gem of a human being, never to be forgotten. You occupy a permanent place in my heart and will be missed by all who knew you.
My thoughts are with you, Ev. 🦋🌹
Sincere condolences too, to Max and Ev’s extended families.
Max’s remaining cousins from his maternal Merritt family acknowledge his passing and long life. Due to distance from his original home area of Geelong and our age only the two youngest members will be present at his farewell.
Our thoughts are with all Max’s extended family and also with Evelyn.
Sincerest sympathy to Evelyn, Graeme, Aimee, Micheal, Lauren & families.
A friend of our family for many years, he will be sadly missed.
