Deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Francie. A truly dear sweet man and a true gentleman. Francie was a wonderful friend to my partner Norm and long time friend and neighbour to the Wilson family. He will be remembered fondly indeed.
VALE Francie and deepest condolences to Elizabeth , Kathryn and Families.
My condolences to Mr Moloney’s family. I loved it when he would tell be stories from the trotting track and about horses. A friend to my father, John Cincotta
A wonderful man who played a large part in the Cohuna A.P. & H. Society and the Cohuna Show. He was a wealth of knowledge and a great mentor. Francie’s reach extends far and wide amongst the agricultural show community. During his long association with the Cohuna Show, he was awarded life membership, was president 4 times, chief ring steward for almost 40 years, ring steward up to his ‘retirement’, a NDASA delegate for 40 years, and a VASA delegate for 25 years. The A.P. & H. Society extends its condolences to Kathryn, Elizabeth, their families and extended family.
My thoughts and prayers are with both Kathryn and Elizabeth today. Fond memories of the Maloney family growing up. Deepest sympathy Judy Fenton(Pippin)
Sorry to hear of the passing of Francie. He and I used to steward and help at the Murray Loddon APSB Show. Very nice man. Thoughts, prayers and sympathy are with Francie’s family at this sad time.
To Kathryn and Elizabeth my thoughts are with you at this sad time after the loss of your dad. Uncle Francie was a true caring person, always up for a chat and asking about my family. Our family had the pleasure of meeting Maloney’s in the early 70’s, and in those days we addressed grownups as Mr and Mrs but Uncle and Aunty was more appropriate for this couple. Such good times spent out the farm, they were always up for looking after me when dad and mum were out for the night. On my wedding day they opened up the their O’Brien Road home for me to get dressed and have photos taken in the back yard. One funny memory that sits in my memory was when Aunty Norma discovered in the wedding photos the old potty Uncle Francie had placed under the tree, always makes me smile when I look at the photos. I’m so gifted that I got to know this incredible man and it was a pleasure to call you Uncle, will miss you.
Such fond memories of Francie throughout my life – particularly as our neighbour on the farm, at the Cohuna Show, foraging for mushrooms.
My thoughts and prayers with Elizabeth, Kathryn and their families,
Lucie Shanahan
