To the Pay family’s. Yes Ian (shorty) was a bit of a character, but he never meant any harm. We were neighbours for many years and had quite a bit to do with him. I remember some of the stories he would tell you, and he’d tell you stuff in such an interesting way. Condolences to all the Pay families.

Our thoughts are with shortys family at this sad time.. Shorty was a very loyal daily customer often bringing eggs, watermelon etc that he had acquired from somewhere. He always had some story or town news to tell us. We will miss cutting his crusts off and half filling his cups of tea and making little soups for a little man. Missing our daily chats and that bucket hat…..from all staff at Sh’marnas place.

Condolences to Shorty’s family on the passing of such a great Kerang character. He loved a chat about what was happening around town and what Council could be doing to make things better. He often surprised me regarding just how much he knew was going on. He will be missed. Rest in Peace Shorty.
