Condolences to all Pete’s family and friends. Beautiful tribute today, my apologies for not being there, l decided live stream was the best option due to Covid.
Pete you may be gone but you will never be forgotten, so many memories of our days spent on the farm transforming little monsters into little angels, you had one feral shetland filly that l always wanted, you always said no, she’s to good to part with, finally the day came, we yarded her, she climbed the fences like crazy, we tried several of your trusted tricks to catch this little horror, in the end you were so frustrated that your word were “if you can load it, you can take it” trust me l wanted that pony so bad that l did get her loaded, l took her home and slowly transformed her into a trusting pony, l still have her last foal here today. R.I.P old boy, you will be missed by many.
A Beautiful service for a beautiful man, my deepest sympathies to his family, he was someone that I looked up to and his advice weather in life or the ponies was invaluable he will be sadly missed
Beautiful service, so sorry I couldn’t be there. Condolences to all. I am very honoured to still have Fairlight Acres blood in my ponies. I have many fond memories of my visits to Kerang and with Pete.
Sincere condolences to the Collins Family on the passing of Peter. A wonderful man who everyone looked up to in the showing world and will never be forgotten. We shall continue to look up to you Peter but in a different kind of way now with many memories of the laughs and good times spent with you.
Rest easy Peter
Reunited now with Isla
Fond memories of visiting the stud, Peter and Isla. Peter bred some beautiful ponies and we were lucky enough to own some. Condolences to Peter’s family at this sad time. Rest easy Peter, now reunited with Isla ❤
Thoughts, prayers and sympathy are with Dianne, Jenni and Elizabeth and families at this sad time. Peter was not only one of my many mentors in Pony breeding to me and many others. But he was also a good friend to me and many others. Peter was always prepared to share his knowledge with others and was pleased that people who either leased or purchased a Fairlight Acres Pony from him did well with them. Peter was also a successful exhibitor of Poultry also. I have many fond memories of going to Peter’s and looking at the ponies and chooks. Peter will not be forgotten and will be forever in my heart.
Our deepest sympathies to Dianne, Jennifer & Elizabeth and families on the passing of your Dad. Our family share some wonderful memories of your fine horses and poultry at showtime in Kerang with both your Mum and Dad. A Life Member of the Kerang & District Agricultural Society Pete will be sadly missed by us all.
Geoff, Fiona, Ross Kendell & families
Sincere sympathy to family and close friends of Peter. Renown through the pony world as much for his knowledge and kindness as for the beautiful ponies bred at Fairlight Acres. A legacy that will live on and be remembered. I feel privileged to have owned just three of them. Rest In Peace Peter.
Thankyou for your kind words Ruth about our Dad

Goodbye Peter. You had some troubles remembering us in the last few years but a good neighbour and mate you’ll always be! Rest easy Peter!
Deepest sympathy to all. I used to ride my bike out to the farm to groom the horses. Also get them ready for the show. I’m one of the Miller clan.
Condolences to the Collins Family, Peter was a lovely man who loved his ponies and certainly bred some beautiful ones, he was very knowledgeable on breeding. if you wanted to know some particular horses breeding just had to ask Peter. Rest in Peace.
Sincere sympathy to the Collins family. Memories of the shoes and Pony club a long time ago. RIP. Peter.
Sincere condolences to Jenny, Diane & Elizabeth and the Collins family. A wonderful, kind and gentle man. Now at peace with his beloved Isla.

As kids we would write a letter to Isla and Peter to stay at the farm during school break. some of my best memories was helping Peter around the farm. with stories to go, you could say it was just plain good fun. RIP Peter.
Our sincere condolences to you all on the loss of your father Peter.
He was a valued member of my committee whilst I was President of the APSB. Many fond memories shared around the show circuit.
