Dear Jackie, Sue, Julie, Caroline & families,
Sincere sympathy to you all at such a sad time. We will always appreciate so much all the time that Ron gave to the running of the Quamby Swimming Pool. As his health deteriorated, he was always there to give us advice and problem solve the problems we faced. Such a genuine person who was only too happy to help and such a clever person who could turn his hand to anything. We always enjoyed our chats around the pool and enjoyed his very mischievous side as well. Ron has run a great race with few regrets I am sure.
Ronnie, from the very moment we met you, we knew we loved you. Your cheeky sense of humour and your unconditional love and loyalty for your family and friends was like nothing else. From the hilarious water fights, the hiding of cow dung in each other’s cars, your amazing garlic prawns, the vegetable gardening tips, the often heated political debates, and the patching of many wounds, you’ve left a mark in our lives that could never be compared. Your friendship meant the world to all of us. Rest In Peace Ronnie and thanks for making it a wonderful world. Love to your family. You’ll be forever missed by many. Love you Ronald J. Until we meet again. X
Dear Jackie, Our deepest sympathy to you and your family, sorry we can’t be at Ron’s funeral but we will view it on the A G Adams link. Ron was quite a character and we have some lovely memories of him. Love to you all. Diane and Laurie Phillips, Echuca.
Sending all my love and thoughts to Sue and your family through this painful and difficult time.
Take comfort from all the incredible and fun memories you have of Ron and hopefully they can ease some of your pain.
What a privilege it was for us as teenagers to be invited up to Quamby and experience some of the magic that Ron brought to the world. I personally have to thank him for his patience and great instructions in getting me up on water skis for the first time.
I know you will miss him terribly.
Sending my love and a huge hug.
Diana
Dear Jackie, so sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. We have lots of memories of Ron’s escapades at Pardoo, the mischief he got up to and the fun times we all had. I bet he’s some place now causing havoc and laughter, that was just our Ron. Love to you and your family from June and Len.
Dear Jackie so sorry to hear of Ron’s passing, gone to a place where he will probably entertain and cause mischief as he did at Pardoo.
Still we have our memories to look back on. Love to you and your family from June and Len Butt
Sending my deepest condolences to Jax, Sue, Julie, Caroline and extended families on the passing of Ronnie. There are simply not enough words to describe how much your husband and Dad meant to me. He took me under his wing at Pardoo and I stayed there up until his passing. His great sense of humor, his cheeky laugh, his love of life and his love of friends and family were second to none. I am really going to miss our video calls, sending photos and messages to each other and talking about people!!! The laughs we had I will cherish forever! You battled so hard with such a positive attitude, smiles and grace up until the end. Sending love, hugs and strength to you all from across the water- Your Irish Girl-Clare Ryan & David Grimes xxx

To my long time friend. Wow, we have had some memories. You and Jackie made my seasons at Pardoo so much fun, knowing you were coming to stay made the tourist season very enjoyable. From the cricket chirping machine to pranking the jackaroos. I thoroughly enjoyed our fishing and mudcrabbing trips over the years. I am so glad my husband and children were able to meet you, spending our time with you fishing ( even though I didnt catch anything that day – kids thought that was hilarious – and they still talk about it). We still can’t believe that was nearly 8 years ago. You will be sadly missed and I know you will be cracking jokes and being your usual playful self, even from up above. Condolences to Jackie and family. All my love, Kristy xxx. (Pardoo alumni 1997 – 2004)
To Jackie and all Ron’s family. Sending our love and sympathy to you all on the passing of Ron. He will be remembered in Quamby for his always smiling face and the willingness to help many people. Even when his health was not good over the years he was there . R I P Ron.
Ronald J Hore, what can I say, a life well lived, memories are now ours to hold in our hearts & to have a laugh🤣. 30 years of friendship & fun times (some I can’t repeat🤣). From times out at the farm with Howard❤, and when we moved into the big smoke of Quamby. You were only ever a phone call away to fix the computer or the pool pump, help with Christmas decorations (never did get them put to music), a spot of fishing🎣, taste test my cooking😋, dropping off your home made drinks🍹, or just calling in to say hi, (you always seemed to call in when the nut loafs were cooling🤣) our trips to the airport late at night🤣, or you, just dropping off little surprises🤣. We have so many happy memories of times with you🤩. Our love & sincere condolences to Jacki, Sue, Julie, Caroline & families.❤ Love Sandra, Darren & families❤
