It was with great sadness that we received the news of Val’s passing away. We have some wonderful memories of our visit to the Poyner home in Boort way back in 2012/13. Val and Don greeted us like old friends and part of the extensive Poyner-Casha families. The loved ones we lose, alas, but their memories, the happiness and warmth they gave to each and everyone will not be lost. We thank Lesley and Mannie for having given us the opportunity to meet Val and Don and the rest of the Poyner family and to share with them the beauty of their hearts and Boort itself. Rest in peace, dear Val.
